Darren has over 30 years of global experience in the oil and gas industry, focusing on creating innovative solutions for the subsea installation and removal of pipelines and subsea facilities. He has supported various Operators and Subsea Contractors throughout the full subsea lifecycle, including subsea installation and removal projects. In addition to his core engineering capabilities, he has a proven track record in new venture management, technology, business development, strategy, and project management. He was the sole inventor of X-Lay technology in 2020.

Darren has lived and worked in the UK, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, PNG, China, Qatar, UAE, Brazil, Nigeria, USA, and Norway. He thrives on respectfully challenging the status quo and collaborating with high-performance teams to help unlock value for customers.

 Adrian is a proven engineering professional and leader with over 25 years subsea engineering experience (pipelines and other assets) within the energy industry including - renewables/sustainability projects, integrity management, digital transition and technology innovation, and project delivery/management experience. 

Adrian has lived and worked in Oceania, Asia and Europe.  He is particularly passionate about developing business and value. Strategically building effective delivery teams completes this picture.

Paul is an independent consultant with over 30 years of global experience across the O&G industry, specializing in areas such as environmental decommissioning and subsea restoration. He is an accomplished C-Suite Executive Leader, Chairman, Non-Executive Director, and Advisor. His career has encompassed technical, project delivery, growth and strategy, business development, and executive leadership roles within Operators, Contractors, and Engineering Consultants.

He is extensively networked across multiple industry segments and professional bodies, with strong connections across Australian State and Federal political landscapes.

Having lived and worked in the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East, Paul is passionate about combining his broad-based executive leadership with deep subject matter expertise in risk and opportunity management, underpinned by a meticulous, governance-centered approach.

Michael is an independent consultant with over 20 years of global commercial experience supporting executive management teams of subsea contractors and specialist back deck equipment service companies that subcontract to subsea contractors. His focus is on delivering growth through strategic business development and commercial management, including initiatives in environmental decommissioning and subsea restoration.

Based in Saudi Arabia, he supports International Maritime Industries (IMI) in new build vessels and contracting. IMI is a joint venture with Saudi Aramco and stands as the largest and most technically advanced maritime yard in the MENA region, incorporating advanced technologies such as X-Lay technology.

Michael has lived and worked in the UK, Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Libya, Norway, Brazil, Bulgaria, Romania, and Saudi Arabia. He thrives on driving growth, boasting a successful history of launching new products and services into niche markets and new regions, as well as leading teams to deliver comprehensive end-to-end product and service solutions.

Ian is an independent consultant and successful entrepreneur with >40 years global commercial experience across multiple industries. He has taken various early-stage science and technology ventures and created successful businesses, via various commercialisation pathways including via technology licensing.

He is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEA and a Facilitator of the CSIRO ON Accelerate program. He currently serves as an Executive Director and None Executive Director of several Australian and Singaporean university and government spinout Healthcare, MedTech and AgTech companies.
