Global subsea infrastructure is entering a multi-decade decommissioning phase. Traditional removal methodologies are vessel-intensive and capital-heavy, creating pressure on operators and contractors who wish to improve cost efficiency and environmental outcomes.
Purpose
Restore Subsea was founded to address structural inefficiencies in the safe removal of subsea facilities and biohazards, plus to enable recycling, through patented solutions that integrate with existing supply chains.
Our Operating Model
Status quo industry players are focused on utilisation of existing assets within silos - engineering, contracting, or equipment, with limited interest in subsea removal R&D.Restore Subsea thrives on challenging traditional thinking across these 3 x silos. We operate an asset-light commercialisation model. Our clients can choose to harness our engineering and asset integrity capabilities and/or to partner with us to license our IP.

X-Lay™ is protected by patent filings and associated IP covering its retrieval methodology and unique configuration. Our strategy is to build a defensible portfolio supporting long-term licensing revenue.
